✔The Municipality of CARAGA is the oldest town & a 1st class municipality in the province of Davao Oriental.
✔It is located 254 kilometers away from Davao City and 84 kilometers away from Davao Oriental’s Capital, Mati City.
✔It also lies along the eastern coast of Davao Oriental facing the Pacific Ocean.

📌 SUNRISE WATCHING at Pusan Point Science Discovery Center & EcoPark in Brgy. Santiago 🌄

The site “Where The First Millenium Sun Shines First in the Philippines” & strategically located at the eastermost part of the country. 🌇

You can also found two lighthouses on this site, an old lighthouse on one side dated back to the 1900 & a new lighthouse on the other side. In the middle of the two lighthouses was a sundial used for timekeeping by the Spaniards. ⏰

Near also at the rock formations is a 16 feet Jubilee Cross that was made as a landmark for Millenium Sunrise event, “First Light, First Sight”. ➕

The Science & Discovery Center on the other hand, have a planetarium, a galaxy walk section, earth sciences section, etc. 🌍

The trail going to the falls was not that easy but it is all worth it. 👌👍

San Salvador Del Mundo Parish Church is known to be the 3rd oldest Catholic structure in Mindanao built on 1884 and the Oldest Village Church in the Philippines. It was made from seashells & corals. 👍

📌 IMMERSE Yourself with Indigenous Culture of Mandaya Tribe

Learn more about the pride of Mandaya community at Sitio Lucatan, Brgy. Pichon showcasing their traditional dance, embroidering their native clothes, doing their jewelry and weaving DAGMAY (one town one product of Caraga) came from abaca fiber , Dagmay symbolize Peace. 👍

Tubilon Cave in Sitio Tubilan, Brgy. Pichon offers magnificent stalactites & stalagmites formations & great for beginners as well. 👌👍

-Major airlines fly daily to Davao from Manila or Cebu.
