SITIO BANAGO : “A hidden paradise in Sto. Domingo, Albay”

The municipality of Sto. Domingo, Albay is not only known for it’s colorful & festive “Sarung Banggi Festival” but also popularly known as “The Resort Capital of Albay” for it’s numerous number of resort.

Last July 20 & 21, 2019, I was invited by fellow blogger & Tourism Advocate, Sir Rome Candaza to explore & experience the hidden paradise of one of the private resorts in Sto. Domingo, Albay named SITIO BANAGO.

It is located at Purok 3, Brgy. Alimsog and just 15-20 minutes away from Sto. Domingo, Albay town proper. It is owned & managed by former municipal mayor, Herbie Aguas.

The resort has serene, cozy, laidback & tropical vibes that is perfect for those who want to relax, unwind & chill by the beach.

It has green sea water with combination of brown sand and pebbles to rockish shoreline.

The resort also offers delectable & sumptous meals to satisfy your cravings. You can request for a Boodle fight and in here you can experience their “sea to table food.” You will see how to catch fishes straight from the sea before it is freshly cooked & eaten.

For overnight stay, the resort has an accommodation that is good for groups. It has 1 airconditioned room with double deck bed that can fit up to 2-4 persons, an extra bed that can fit 2 persons and a queen sized bed that can fit another 2 persons. It also has 2 comfort room.

For those who are adventure junkie just like me, the resort offers watersport activities like jetskiing, kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling etc. You can also play basketball in their mini court & play beach volleyball. The resort also offers Island Hopping to explore the nearby islands of Albay.

At night, you can do bonfire, stargazing or just jam & have some drinks with your companions. You can also sing your hearts out at their Videoke machine.

So if you’re looking for a new destination for your next getaway, Sitio Banago is the ideal spot for you!
